License & refund policy

Digital assessment licenses are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We do not offer voluntary returns, exchanges, or store credit for a change of mind, including for unused licenses. We may make an individual exception at our discretion.

Assessment packs and purchased AI credits

Assessment packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Your payment provides the number of single-assessment licenses shown at checkout. Purchased assessment licenses currently have no expiry. Separately purchased AI report credits currently have no expiry and are kept separately from included membership allowances. An AI report credit covers one generated draft, which requires clinician review and revision. Editing and downloading that draft do not use another credit.

Free quarterly plans

Only accounts existing when the free-month policy launched on October 28, 2026 retain lifetime free membership. Founder includes 3 assessments per calendar quarter and 1 AI report for the lifetime of the account. Verified Educator access includes 6 assessments per calendar quarter and a total of 2 lifetime AI reports, including any lifetime reports already used. Free quarterly allowances reset on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 at 00:00 UTC; your portal displays the reset in your local time. Free plans do not automatically become paid subscriptions.

Paid memberships and renewals

Essential is $15 USD every three months or $60 USD per year for 15 assessments and 2 AI reports per quarter; Pro is $30 USD every three months or $120 USD per year for 30 assessments and 4 AI reports per quarter. Checkout shows the price, billing interval, applicable taxes, and recurring payment terms before you agree. A paid membership renews automatically at the interval and price you accept at checkout until canceled. Existing pack purchases do not enroll you in a membership.

Paid assessment and AI allowances refresh every three months from the original subscription start. Annual subscriptions are billed yearly; their allowances still refresh quarterly. Unused quarterly allowances do not roll over and have no cash or refund value. Lifetime AI allowances do not reset.

Roadmap for Life alumni

Eligible course alumni can claim permanent account benefits through their private course link after confirming their email. Alumni receive 50% off individual assessment licenses for life, plus exactly one introductory subscription discount: 50% off the first annual subscription term or 25% off the first quarterly subscription term. The introductory discounts cannot be combined or used sequentially. Subscription renewals return to standard pricing. The lifetime individual assessment discount remains attached to the account. No coupon entry is required.

Using an allowance

An included assessment uses one quarterly allowance when you start it. The resulting assessment license remains available for that assessment after the quarter ends. Included AI reports are used before separately purchased AI credits. If AI generation fails, the reserved allowance or credit is returned to its original source; returning an expired quarterly allowance does not extend it into a new quarter. A completed draft uses its allowance or credit.

Changing or canceling a membership

Use Manage billing or change plan in your clinician portal to update payment details, change your paid plan, or cancel renewal. If billing management is unavailable, contact us using the details below for help with cancellation. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and access continues through that period. It does not cancel separate pack purchases or remove already downloaded reports.

Plan upgrades may take effect after the applicable payment is confirmed; Stripe shows any prorated charge before you confirm. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the paid billing period. Changing plans does not refill an already used quarterly allowance. If paid access ends, your account returns to the free plan for which it is eligible; purchased licenses and credits remain separate.

Refunds

The non-refundable policy above applies to one-time digital licenses, purchased AI credits, and paid membership charges, except as required by applicable law. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not ordinarily provide a prorated refund or cash value for unused allowances. We may make an individual exception. Incorrect charges, undelivered access, and service defects can be reviewed as described below.

Educator verification and your profile

Educator access requires individual administrator approval or a confirmed email address at an administrator-approved school domain. Approval of a domain verifies school affiliation for current and future accounts at that domain, including district subdomains only when explicitly approved. Lifetime free Educator membership is restricted to existing accounts; school verification does not extend a new account’s free month or bypass paid membership requirements. A requested but unconfirmed email change does not grant domain access. Eligibility is rechecked after a confirmed email change or removal of domain approval. Previously used lifetime allowances are retained in the usage record. Domain approval is not verification of professional licensure, certification, or clinical competence.

Use My profile to update your account name, request a confirmed email change, or change your password. A profile update does not rewrite an already downloaded report or an assigned training case.

License conditions and report privacy

Each assessment license permits one assessment for one client. A license does not transfer ownership of Roadmap, its questions, software, or other intellectual property. Do not share account credentials, resell licenses, bypass usage restrictions, or redistribute blank assessment materials. Starting reserves a license for that assessment; finalization locks its completed status. An administrative reset retires the original code and may issue a replacement. A refund may result in revocation as described below.

You may download completed reports. Sharing a client's report is your responsibility and must comply with applicable permissions, privacy requirements, and professional obligations. Current plans do not add client-specific longitudinal storage. Clinical is a possible future tier and is not currently available. Access does not promise perpetual hosted availability or waive remedies required by law.

Problems with a purchase

If you are charged incorrectly, do not receive the promised licenses, or encounter a service defect, contact Ryan Baker-Barrett using the details below. This policy does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by law, applicable warranty rights, or the right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge. Do not send client records when requesting help.

If a refund is issued

The licenses covered by the refund may be revoked, including replacement codes issued for those licenses. Revocation stops further use of those codes; it does not remotely remove reports you already downloaded or change their clinical contents. An exceptional refund does not create an entitlement to refunds for other purchases.

Free month and referral membership

New accounts receive one calendar month of membership after confirming their email, including 3 assessments and 1 AI report. No billing information is required, and the free month does not convert into a paid subscription or trigger a charge. At expiry, unused membership allowances and access to membership-issued assessment licenses stop unless a paid plan or another earned free month is active. Downloaded reports remain yours.

When a new clinician uses your referral link during signup and confirms their email, they receive their first free month and you earn one additional free month. Each earned month has a fresh allowance of 3 assessments and 1 AI report; unused allowances do not roll over. Repeated confirmations do not create extra rewards. Existing lifetime members retain their normal quarterly and lifetime allowances; referral months do not increase those allowances. Earned months extend from the end of existing free access, or the current paid-through date if later. They are access rewards, not billing credits, and do not cancel or discount an active paid subscription.

Purchased one-time assessment licenses and purchased AI report credits have no membership expiry and remain usable regardless of subscription status, subject to their one-use limits and any independent revocation or refund. Roadmap does not store assessment answers or downloadable report files for later retrieval; save your reports securely before leaving.

Promotional access

Free previews, referral rewards, and promotional codes have no cash refund value. Their stated restrictions and redemption or assessment deadlines apply. A one-assessment code grants one assessment, once in total; a 100% discount on a five-pack grants five assessments.
